QA Engineer – Automation and Manual Testing

What You’ll Do

• Test Coverage & Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for mobile, web, and API layers.
• Automation with Playwright: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, ensuring continuous test coverage and quick feedback loops.
• Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases when necessary, focusing on edge cases, exploratory testing, and usability.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, report, track, and verify defects in a clear and reproducible manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to understand features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Quality Metrics & Documentation: Maintain test reports, track QA metrics (defect density, pass/fail rates), and contribute to best practices in testing methodology.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in QA or a related field.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.)
• Playwright Expertise:
• Hands-on experience using Playwright (or similar automation frameworks) to create and maintain automated test suites.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for writing automation tests.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• PHP knowledge is an advantage.
• Analytical Mindset:
• Ability to identify test scenarios, create test plans, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent Communication:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
• Team Player:
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with agile development practices.
